Job Details

We are seeking a passionate and driven Permanent Project Manager for our Civil Construction division. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic and growing team in the Construction industry. The role demands a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, strategic planning, risk mitigation, and problem solving. A strong background in grading/public utilities/concrete/asphalt paving is preferred.

Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of civil construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and execute project work plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Manage project budget, ensuring financial accountability and cost control.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Conduct project risk assessments and implement management plans to mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and all other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Implement quality control programs and supervise on‑site procedures to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Perform problem‑solving tasks as they arise, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Conduct strategic planning and forecasting, develop project objectives, and oversee quality control throughout the project's life cycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management role within the civil construction industry.
  • Proven track record in managing grading/public utilities/concrete/asphalt paving projects.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, quality control standards, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and budgeting.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
