Piping Foreman - Site Civil Construction

A well-established site civil contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Piping Foreman to join its growing operations across the Charlotte area.

With a strong pipeline of private land development and infrastructure projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with a full order book and long-term career opportunities.

You’ll play a key role in leading underground utility crews, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards while working closely with Superintendents and Project Managers.

As Piping Foreman, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations across underground utility installations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with project specifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading underground utility crews on active construction projects.
• Installing water mains, sanitary sewer and storm drainage systems.
• Coordinating labour, materials and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting civil drawings and utility plans.
• Ensuring production targets and project schedules are achieved.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and subcontractors.
• Mentoring operators, pipe layers and labourers.

You’ll be working across a variety of site civil and land development projects, including:

• Commercial Developments
• Residential Communities
• Mixed-Use Developments
• Private Site Development

• Previous experience as a Piping Foreman or Utility Foreman.
• Strong background installing underground utilities.
• Experience with water mains, sanitary sewer and storm drainage.
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings.
• Proven leadership experience managing field crews.
• Strong understanding of site safety and quality standards.
