- Position: Reconstruction Estimator
- Location: Charlotte, NC
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Experience: 2–5 Years
- Salary: $65,000–$80,000
- Visit project sites as needed to gather information for renovation and existing building projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive project bids.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations.
- Develop practical solutions tailored to client and project requirements.
- Utilize estimating software to prepare proposals and pricing.
- Collaborate with pre‑construction, project management, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to execution.
- 2–5 years of estimating or construction experience.
- Experience working on commercial construction projects, including multi‑story structures, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
