This role is critical to the pre‑construction process, partnering with business development and operations to develop accurate estimates, competitive bids, and successful project handoffs. Key Responsibilities
  • Visit project sites as needed to gather information for renovation and existing building projects.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive project bids.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations.
  • Develop practical solutions tailored to client and project requirements.
  • Utilize estimating software to prepare proposals and pricing.
  • Collaborate with pre‑construction, project management, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to execution.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of estimating or construction experience.
  • Experience working on commercial construction projects, including multi‑story structures, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
