Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

Fairwood Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee interior upfit projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing retail, restaurant, and commercial interior renovation projects while delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining schedules, controlling budgets, and coordinating subcontractors.

• Manage multiple commercial interior upfit projects simultaneously.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and client communication.
• Coordinate permitting, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Conduct jobsite visits to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
• Lead project meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with field superintendents to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for repeat business.

• 3+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Proven experience managing retail, restaurant, and tenant improvement/interior upfit projects

• Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, budgeting, and project financials.
• Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling software preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.

• Commercial interiors, retail, hospitality, restaurants, office renovations, and occupied renovations.
• General contractor experience with projects ranging from approximately $100K to $5M.
