Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Construction Manager/ Foreman
Job Description
DPR Construction is seeking a project executive with at least 15 years of commercial construction experience. The role is responsible for business development, contract negotiations, insurance requirements, and the high‑level execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of one or more commercial projects within our core markets (healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, and corporate office).
Responsibilities- Manage commercial projects and project teams ranging from 10 to 50 employees.
- Lead team members (project managers, project engineers, superintendents, field office coordinator) and mentor, develop, and train them for fast‑paced growth.
- Maintain 100% detailed/hands‑on knowledge of project requirements and deliverables, with demonstrable understanding of building processes and systems.
- Control costs, manage billings, collect payments, administer change management, and prepare monthly status reports.
- Perform cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Serve as key point of contact with owners and architects; challenge and support the jobsite and self‑perform work teams.
- Ensure project completion, financial performance, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction.
- Actively participate in regional operations, including staffing, business planning, and preconstruction efforts.
- Flexible, detail‑oriented team player capable of managing multiple tasks, project teams, and delivering quality work on schedule.
- Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
- Ability to mentor others and lead by example.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues.
- Capability to build and sustain team morale.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management, cost‑management, and scheduling software (e.g., Prolog, CMIC, Primavera).
- 15+ years of experience in a project management/executive role, preferably within DPR’s core markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong work ethic and a "can‑do" attitude.
