The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Spartanburg, SC, responsible for overseeing residential construction projects from start to completion. This role manages daily field operations, including supervising subcontractors and site staff, coordinating schedules, and ensuring work is completed according to plans, specifications, and building codes. The Construction Manager monitors project progress, tracks budgets, manages materials and equipment, and proactively addresses issues that could impact timelines or quality.

The role also enforces safety standards, conducts regular site inspections, and maintains clear communication with internal teams, trade partners, and stakeholders. The Construction Manager is expected to document project activities, prepare status reports, and support continuous improvement of construction processes and practices.

• Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills and experience leading construction teams or subcontractors.
• Candidates should possess budgeting and project control skills, including cost tracking, scheduling, and documentation of project milestones.
• Candidates should possess construction and construction safety skills, with a solid understanding of residential building practices, codes, and OSHA safety requirements.
• Candidates should possess effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Relevant qualifications such as several years of residential construction management experience and a background in construction management, engineering, or a related field are beneficial.
• Proficiency with construction management software, project scheduling tools, and basic office applications is advantageous.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to work on-site across multiple communities as needed are required.

• Experience on scattered lot or infill projects, not only single-community production builds
• Experience conducting New Homeowner Orientations and managing buyer walkthroughs
• Track record of high third-party quality inspection scores
• Established relationships within the Greenville, Spartanburg, or Charlotte trade base
• Base salary of $_____ annually, paid bi-weekly
• Monthly vehicle allowance of $_____ ($_____ annually, paid bi-weekly)
• Bonus structure in place
• Health insurance with employee-only and employee + children coverage at 100% Company expense; spousal and dependent coverage available at the employee’s election
• 401(k) with Company match of 100% on the first 3% and 50% on the next 2%, for a maximum match of 4%
• 15 days (120 hours) of paid time off annually, plus paid Company-observed holidays
