Job Summary

Job Title: Pre-Construction Estimator/Specialist

Job Location: Charlotte, NC

The Pre-Construction Estimator/Specialist plays a key role in developing accurate and competitive pricing by reviewing project specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and generating detailed estimates and proposals.

• Review specification and drawings
• Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers and follow up to obtain written quotes
• Attend preconstruction site visits (when applicable)
• Assist with detailed estimates and proposals
• Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals
• Provide accurate estimates and proposals
• Partner closely with sales, operations and engineering teams to assist with the best solutions and pricing
• Assist with the selection of contractors
• Participate in Monthly project review meetings

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of sales and/or HVAC experience
• Strong skills in written and oral communication, organization, and time management

• Frequent sitting and computer use
• Occasional standing, walking, and reaching
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and navigate job sites to survey equipment
• Work may require performing duties outdoors in various weather conditions and exposure to dust, dirt, common allergens, or refrigerants

This position works in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
