Job Description & How to Apply Below

Triversity Construction is expanding in the Columbus market and hiring Project Managers to help in the expansion and take ownership of commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This is a unique and hands-on role where you will lead projects, manage client relationships, aid in overall company expansion efforts in Columbus, and drive execution across schedule, budget, and field coordination.

Typical projects range from $1M to $10M across healthcare, workplace, retail, and community focused builds.

If you are currently running projects or are ready to step into a larger role with more ownership, this is an opportunity to grow with a team that is actively building its presence in Columbus.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and day-to-day project execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and partners.
  • Oversee RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Identify risks early and keep projects moving forward.
  • Partner with preconstruction on estimating, buyout, and subcontract creation.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of risk management and safety, proactively managing the team to ensure all field activities are completed safely.

What we’re looking for

  • 6+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Experience managing or supporting full lifecycle construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
  • Ability to lead teams and communicate clearly with clients and partners.
  • Experience with healthcare, workplace, retail, or similar commercial projects is a plus.
  • Preconstruction or estimating experience is helpful but not required.
  • Recent experience building in the central Ohio region.

Why this role is different

  • Direct impact on Triversity’s growth in the Columbus market.
  • Opportunity to take full ownership of projects, not just support execution.
  • Project sizes that offer variety without heavy bureaucracy.
  • A collaborative environment where PMs are trusted to lead.
  • Clear opportunity to grow as the Columbus team expands.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is aligned with market expectations and based on experience, project background, and scope of responsibility. We are happy to discuss expectations early in the process to ensure alignment.

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) program with company match
  • Profit sharing program
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Ongoing training and development
