General Description The Erosion Control Foreman supervises field operations of an erosion control crew to prevent soil erosion and protect water quality. They will also engage in the trade work performed by the crew. Key Duties
- Knowledgeable in the areas of installing and maintaining sediment barriers
- Directly supervisors grading crew, reporting to Superintendent
- Operates and supervises the operation of heavy equipment on project sites
- Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications
- Provides reports on time and materials
- Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Use of heavy equipment and supervision of the use of heavy equipment
- Flexibility with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Requirements
- Experience operating relevant heavy equipment- 5+ years, NCDOT, commercial and/or residential grading experience- 3+ years supervisory experience
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs Benefits
