We are seeking an experienced P6 Scheduler to join our growing Data Center team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules for complex data center projects, working closely with project management, cost management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
This role requires strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6
, including the development of resource-loaded schedules
, schedule analysis, progress measurement, forecasting, and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale, complex construction projects
, preferably within the data center, mission-critical, industrial, or other highly technical environments.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
. - Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules
, including labor, equipment, and other project resources. - Review resource requirements, productivity, and resource allocation against project plans.
- Establish and maintain project baselines, schedule logic, calendars, activity codes, and work breakdown structures.
- Integrate schedules across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities.
- Work with project teams to establish realistic activity durations, logic, sequencing, and resource requirements.
- Collect and analyze progress information from project stakeholders and incorporate updates into P6.
- Perform schedule analysis to identify critical path activities, float erosion, constraints, delays, and potential schedule risks.
- Prepare schedule forecasts and identify potential impacts to key milestones and project completion dates.
- Conduct what-if analysis and schedule scenario planning to assess potential recovery strategies.
- Support the development and monitoring of recovery schedules and mitigation plans.
- Analyze planned versus actual progress and resource utilization.
- Support earned value and performance measurement activities where required.
- Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, progress updates, and other project controls deliverables for project leadership and clients.
- Work closely with cost management teams to ensure alignment between schedule, cost, and resource information.
- Identify schedule risks and provide recommendations to project management teams.
- Review contractor and subcontractor schedules for logic, sequencing, progress, resource loading, and compliance with project requirements.
- Support change management by assessing the schedule impact of changes, delays, and variations.
- Participate in regular schedule review and progress meetings with project stakeholders.
- Ensure scheduling processes, standards, and reporting requirements are consistently applied across projects.
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of scheduling/project controls experience within the construction industry.
- Strong hands-on experience using Primavera P6
. - Proven experience developing and maintaining resource-loaded schedules in P6.
- Strong understanding of resource loading, resource allocation, productivity, and resource forecasting.
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects with multiple stakeholders and complex interfaces.
- Strong understanding of critical path methodology, schedule logic, float, constraints, baselines, and schedule updates.
- Experience analyzing schedule performance and identifying potential delays and risks.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery methodologies.
- Experience reviewing contractor/subcontractor schedules is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
