Job DetailsOur company is seeking a seasoned Permanent Multi-Family Superintendent to join our dynamic team. We are on the hunt for a dedicated professional with a passion for the construction industry and a knack for leadership. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing multi-family construction projects, ensuring that all operations adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in paint and drywall supervision, commercial construction, and multi-family construction.
They will also be well‑versed in quality control, site coordination, and field operations management.
- Oversee all aspects of multi-family construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Supervise painting and drywall installation, ensuring the highest level of quality and craftsmanship.
- Manage commercial construction operations, including the coordination of site activities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds the set standards.
- Coordinate on‑site activities, including the scheduling of workers, delivery of materials, and resolution of any arising issues.
- Utilize project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam to track project progress and communicate effectively with the team.
- Oversee field operations, ensuring all activities adhere to OSHA regulations, and promote a safe working environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in multi-family and commercial construction.
- Proven experience in paint and drywall supervision.
- Extensive knowledge of construction quality control measures and site coordination.
- Proficiency in using project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and a strong commitment to promoting safety in the workplace.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and oversee a diverse team.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, contractors, and clients.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
