Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a growing construction organization that is hiring a Construction Safety Specialist to support field operations and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. This is a hands‑on role working directly on project sites to enforce safety programs, conduct audits, and train personnel in a fast‑paced construction environment. The ideal candidate has strong OSHA knowledge, field safety experience, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine construction site safety audits and inspections, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA (29 CFR 1926 & 1910), NFPA 70E, and company safety policies
  • Support project teams with pre‑task planning, safety documentation, and hazard assessments
  • Provide safety training to field personnel (OSHA 10/30, fall protection, equipment safety, etc.)
  • Assist with incident and near‑miss investigations, including documentation and root cause analysis
  • Ensure job sites are properly equipped with PPE, safety equipment, and required resources
  • Maintain accurate records of training certifications, inspections, and compliance documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and field teams to maintain a safe work environment
  • Attend and represent the company in safety meetings with clients, contractors, and leadership
  • Requirements
  • 2+ years of construction site safety experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1926 & 1910)
  • Experience with NFPA 70E (electrical safety)
  • Experience conducting site audits, safety inspections, and training
  • Ability to lead safety trainings and present to groups of varying sizes
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work onsite and adapt to changing field conditions
