The Field Technician is a hands‑on, outdoor role where you’ll test materials like concrete and soil on active construction sites. If you enjoy working in the field, learning new skills, and growing into higher‑level roles, this is a strong entry point into the A/E/C industry.
Work Environment- Outdoor, active job sites (heat, cold, varying conditions)
- Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs (occasionally more with assistance)
- Overtime and flexible hours may be required based on project needs
- Competitive hourly pay: $18–$28/hr (based on experience)
- Overtime available (typical total earnings $55K–$75K+)
- Up to a $1,000 signing bonus
- Paid training and certifications (ACI, ICC, DOT)

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skillset, experience, qualifications, and other job‑related duties. What you’ll do:- Perform field testing on soil, concrete, and other construction materials
- Observe site activities and document results
- Work with construction plans, specs, and field data
- Communicate with project teams and clients
- Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate reports
Qualifications:
- No experience required - we will train entry‑level candidates and encourage them to apply
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record is required
- Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skills are required
- Basic math, calculator, and computer skills are required
- The ability to read and understand work plans is required
- Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
- Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds if needed. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance.
