Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Construction Plumbing Project Manager to oversee commercial plumbing projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, field personnel, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple plumbing construction projects simultaneously.
  • Review plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Develop project schedules and coordinate manpower requirements.
  • Prepare project budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, inspectors, and vendors.
  • Schedule material deliveries and ensure timely procurement.
  • Conduct project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues that may impact schedule or budget.
  • Track labor productivity and job costs.
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices.
  • Prepare billing, pay applications, and project documentation.
  • Manage project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, and as-built documentation.
  • Mentor and support field supervisors and foremen.
Required Qualifications
  • 2-8 years of plumbing construction project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Experience managing budgets exceeding $500,000+ (or applicable project size).
  • Strong scheduling and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Valid driver s license.
