We are in need of a Senior Estimator to join our construction team based in Charlotte. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in helping to win commercial construction projects, providing accurate and competitive hard bid estimates that drive our success. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Our ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in construction estimating and a deep understanding of the construction industry.

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Utilizing your expertise in hard bid estimating to deliver competitive and accurate bids.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Reviewing and analyzing project plans and specifications to determine the overall estimated cost of a project.
• Evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure they meet project specifications and budget.
• Participating in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather accurate information for estimates.
• Maintaining and updating a database of historical cost data for use in future estimates.
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior estimating staff.
• Participating in post-bid reviews to learn from successful and unsuccessful bids.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial projects.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven expertise in hard bid estimating.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant computer applications.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
