The Specialized Recruiting Group is a Assistant Land Development Manager for a growing land development firm to support residential and commercial projects through preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in land development and project management.
Key Responsibilities:- Support project planning, budgets, schedules, and resource coordination
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, bids, and scopes of work
- Conduct site visits, field observations, and project meetings
- Review contractor invoices and change orders
- Coordinate permits, utilities, municipal requirements, and inspections
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, tracking logs, and documentation
- Identify project risks and communicate schedule/budget impacts
- Support project closeout, warranty, compliance, and utility acceptance
- Prepare project updates and assist with client/leadership reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field, OR 2–4 years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or MS Planner
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Permitting, utility coordination, or municipal processes
- Construction documents, contractor agreements, and bid processes
- Quick Books or similar invoice/accounting software
- Project management or construction tracking software
