Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing materials to support business development, with a focus on creating compelling print and digital collateral for proposals and presentations, such as offering memorandums and presentations. Video skills a plus.
Main Responsibilities- Graphically convey the company's expertise and differentiators in a professional and compelling fashion. Includes creating, designing, and editing materials such as print and interactive collateral like proposals, offering memorandums, video, graphics/covers, flyers, maps, aerials, logos, floor plans, pictures, presentation graphics/charts, and end bound books.
- Apply professional graphic design principles and develop new ideas to support business development.
- Manage complex projects from start to finish.
- Provide design advice and guidance to deal team; taking verbal and written input and applying it to graphic illustrations.
- Enhance videos with effects, animations, graphics, dialogues, sound effects, and music to increase visual appeal.
- Create short videos showcasing JLL value that speaks to specific audience personas.
- Design materials that align with the preferences of the deal team and clients, while adhering to JLL branding standards.
- Keep informed on design software and marketing/design trends both inside and outside of the real estate industry and apply new concepts and presentations to our business. Additionally, must have the desire to learn and grow in this position.
- Take initiative to identify when others need assistance and provide support as needed.
- Strong time management and communication skills are essential for this role.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional design experience using Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on designing presentations, creating short videos, and animations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to design within branding standards.
- Ability to use tact and diplomacy when interacting with others.
- Well-developed verbal, listening, written and creative design skills.
- Excellent time management, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of interactive and animation in InDesign is a plus.
- Any knowledge of commercial real estate is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
- Design related certifications a plus.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) for a Macintosh Operating System.
- Emphasis in the use of InDesign, Adobe Premiere.
- Must have intermediate working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Video editing and motion graphics (Adobe Premiere and After Effects) a plus.
- Office - work with computers, copiers, and scanners.
