A well-established full-service dental laboratory in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced CAD/CAM Designer – Fixed Technician with strong expertise in 3

Shape to support high-quality fixed restorative workflows. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled digital technician who enjoys hands‑on involvement, teamwork, and working in a fast‑paced production environment.

• Design crowns and custom abutments using 3
  
  Shape, including split‑file workflows.
• Perform encode decoding and work confidently with scan bodies.
• Support implant restorative cases from design through production readiness.
• Pre‑finish and work with green‑state zirconia as needed.
• Perform scanning of models and cases when required.
• Nest cases for milling (experience with Mill Box is a plus).
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure accuracy, quality, and turnaround times.
• Maintain high standards for consistency, communication, and case documentation.

• Proven experience as a Fixed CAD/CAM Designer in a dental laboratory.
• Strong working knowledge of 3
  
  Shape design software.
• Experience with implant workflows, including scan bodies and Encode systems.
• Comfortable working in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and quality‑focused.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

• Experience with Mill Box nesting software.
• Cross‑training in scanning and production workflows.
• Background in full‑service lab environments.

• Estimated salary: ~$70,000
  ~$90,000/year
  , depending on experience.
