Lume Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join our privately owned, doctor-led organization at our Mallard Creek location in the University area of Charlotte.
Lume Pediatric Dentistry (formerly Charlotte Pediatric Dentistry) is a multi-location pediatric and orthodontic group serving families across 22 locations. Our model combines clinical autonomy, strong operational infrastructure, and a performance-based compensation structure designed to reward productivity and clinical efficiency while maintaining long-term private ownership and clinical decision‑making.
Providers practice within a collaborative, multi‑specialty organization that includes board‑certified pediatric dentists and orthodontists. Many locations offer on‑site orthodontic services to support coordinated care and interdisciplinary treatment planning. While pediatric offices may operate as single‑provider locations, clinical mentorship and interdisciplinary collaboration are available across the organization.
Schedule- 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday–Thursday)
- 7:15 AM – 12:00 PM (Friday)
- No routine weekend hours
- Participation in shared emergency call coverage
Each provider is supported by experienced clinical and administrative teams designed to promote efficient patient flow and allow providers to focus on patient care. Hygiene and clinical support resources vary by location.

300+ new patients monthly across locations and established referral relationships.
Expected daily production at this location: $9,000 – $12,000
Clinical mentorship from experienced, board‑certified pediatric dentists is available, with support aligned to the provider’s experience level. Opportunities for hospital dentistry, sedation services, and advanced procedures may become available over time based on experience, credentialing, and organizational need.
Qualifications- Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency (Required)
- Active North Carolina dental license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date (Required)
- Commitment to a minimum of four clinical days per week (Required)
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to high‑quality pediatric patient care (Required)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (Preferred)
- 3+ years of clinical experience in a pediatric or high‑volume environment (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend (Preferred)
- Hospital / surgical credentials, or ability to obtain with organizational support (Preferred)
