Dental Assistant

Overview

Our office, Queen City Endodontics - South Charlotte in Charlotte, NC, seeks a talented Dental Assistant for our busy specialty practice.

• Welcome patients and maintain a welcoming office environment.
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies.>
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
• Assist the dentist through 4‑handed dentistry.
• Provide oral hygiene and post‑operative care instructions.
• Keep the dental room clean and well‑stocked.
• Schedule appointments and post‑op visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist with payment procedures.
• Coordinate additional office duties as needed.

• North Carolina state radiology certification.
• Nitrous oxide certification.
• 3+ years of dental assisting experience.
• Endodontic experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with computers and dental software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with doctors’ notes and clinical documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Availability 7:45 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with flexibility for later hours.
• Professional demeanor and communication skills.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to perform regulated non‑surgical tasks.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Well‑organized and reliable.
• High school diploma.

Position Base Pay Range: $18 USD – $25 USD.
