Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Travel Oral Surgery Assistant to support our oral surgery teams across multiple practice locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is flexible with travel, and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care. The Travel Oral Surgery Assistant will assist surgeons during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure a smooth clinical workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and other oral surgery treatments
  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and treatment rooms
  • Take and review dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Provide post-operative instructions to patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
  • Travel to various practice locations as scheduled to support clinical teams
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Oral Surgery Assistant preferred
  • X-ray certification required
  • Knowledge of oral surgery procedures and instruments preferred
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to travel between offices as needed
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred
