Purpose Of Organizational Unit
The UNC Adams School of Dentistry Division of Comprehensive Oral Health houses several disciplines including Periodontology, Dental Hygiene, Comprehensive Dentistry, Operative Dentistry/Bio Materials, Prosthodontics, and Endodontics. The Operative discipline focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of defects of the teeth that do not require full coverage restorations for correction.
Position SummaryThe University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Dentistry seeks a Part‑Time Adjunct faculty member in the Division of Comprehensive Oral Health. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: ensuring safe and effective delivery of patient care, providing didactic and clinical education, summative and formative student assessment, and participation in small group seminars.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements- Hold a DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree.
- At least two years of demonstrated clinical experience or postgraduate clinical education.
- Demonstrated clinical teaching experience.
- Ability to perform all aspects of general dentistry.
- Currently holds or is eligible for a NC Dental teaching license.
