Lead Architectural Designer Design the Future of Healthcare Environments
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Project Designer II to join our growing team and help shape innovative, meaningful healthcare spaces. This role is perfect for an experienced architectural designer who thrives in collaboration, embraces design leadership, and is motivated by creating environments that elevate health, wellness, and community impact.
As a Project Designer II, you will lead design efforts on small to mid‑sized projects and play a key role in larger, more complex project teams. You’ll bring strong conceptual thinking, strategic insight, and exceptional communication skills to guide design direction, mentor emerging designers, and support successful outcomes from concept through construction.
What You’ll DoLead the creation of high‑quality design materials across all project phases, including programming documents, site studies, typology research, sketches, digital models, visualizations, and client presentations.
Develop and refine design direction to align with project goals, user needs, sustainability objectives, and code requirements.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate translation of design intent into technical documentation and project execution.
Oversee design implementation throughout all phases, maintaining alignment with project vision, quality standards, and regulatory expectations.
Participate in internal quality review processes to support accurate, well‑coordinated, and code‑compliant project documents.
Mentor and support junior designers; contribute to design culture through critiques, cross‑disciplinary coordination, and firmwide design initiatives.
Professional degree in Architecture, or equivalent relevant experience.
5+ years of architectural design experience, preferably in healthcare, with a demonstrated ability to deliver thoughtful, technically strong design solutions.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and BSD Spec Link.
Strong visual communication skills, including sketching, digital modeling, and rendering.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team‑driven, iterative design settings.
Experience in health & wellness or education design is a plus.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
