Entry Level Landscape Architect

Entry Level Landscape Architect – Charlotte, NC

• Perform zoning code research, site feasibility and due diligence studies.
• Assist with preparation of rezoning and conditional use plans.
• Prepare site construction plans including site design, grading design, storm drainage design, erosion and sediment control design, landscape plans, and associated details.
• Prepare associated calculations and reports.
• Prepare renders for presentations. Candidate must have excellent hand‑drawing skills and be familiar with digital technologies such as Adobe Photoshop. Experience with Rhino and D5 is a plus, but not required.
• Work on multidisciplinary design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
• May also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
• Previous internship experience is desired.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch Up, GIS/Arc View, and PowerPoint.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
