Are you a licensed architect who thrives on leading complex projects and bringing meaningful spaces to life? We're looking for a Senior Project Architect to play a key role in the design and delivery of impactful healthcare projects across the Charlotte market.

What You'll Do
+ Lead the design and technical execution of healthcare and complex commercial projects from concept through construction.
+ Partner directly with clients to understand goals, solve challenges, and deliver innovative design solutions.
+ Translate design intent into coordinated, buildable construction documents.
+ Oversee project documentation, quality control, and technical accuracy throughout all phases.
+ Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
+ Mentor junior architects and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.
+ Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.
+ Help drive project success by managing schedules, deliverables, and team workflows.
+ Participate in client presentations, proposals, and business development efforts.
What We're Looking For
+ Licensed Architect (required)
+ 8+ years of architectural experience with progressive project leadership responsibilities
+ Strong experience leading projects from schematic design through construction administration
+ Healthcare project experience preferred; experience with other large-scale, complex projects will also be considered
+ Advanced proficiency in Revit
+ Experience producing and coordinating construction documents
+ Strong technical knowledge of building systems, detailing, and construction processes
+ Proven ability to manage client relationships and multidisciplinary project teams
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
+
Experience with Sketch Up or other 3D modeling software is a plus
+ LEED accreditation or sustainability experience is a bonus

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
