Senior Design Intern

Gain meaningful studio experience while contributing useful design research, documentation, sourcing, styling, and installation support across Stacy Nicole Interiors and Stacy Nicole Home.

Paid part-time internship

12–16 hours per week

Two or three consistent weekday blocks; some installation or event dates may vary.

In person at our Charlotte, NC studio with local showroom and project-site experience.

$18–$22 per hour, based on completed coursework, portfolio strength, and relevant experience.

• Support sourcing, sample organization, product research, presentation preparation, and project documentation.
• Assist with measurements, showroom visits, vendor follow-up, installations, and styling.
• Support product styling, visual merchandising, and content preparation for Stacy Nicole Home when assigned.
• Maintain accurate design-library and digital-file organization.
• Complete clearly assigned deliverables on time and communicate questions early.
• Participate in feedback sessions and apply studio standards to future work.

• Junior, senior, recent graduate, or career-transition student in an accredited interior design, architecture, visual merchandising, or related program.
• Portfolio or coursework showing developing skills in space planning, materials, furnishings, styling, or presentations.
• Working knowledge of at least one drafting or modeling platform plus Canva, Adobe, or comparable presentation tools.
• Professional communication, curiosity, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and availability for in-person studio and project work.
