visionary and collaborative physician with a strong clinical and academic foundation to serve as Division Chief, Pediatric Critical Care .

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

ECMO
CRRT
Solid organ transplantation
Advanced mechanical ventilation

Located within a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
Serves as a regional and statewide referral destination
Division Overview

11 Pediatric Critical Care physicians
11 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Strong multidisciplinary collaboration
Robust academic and clinical foundation with opportunities for program growth, innovation, and leadership development
Role Responsibilities

The Division Chief / Medical Director will:

Provide strategic, clinical, and academic leadership for the Pediatric Critical Care division
Lead and mentor physicians and APPs in a high‑acuity, high‑volume environment
Advance quality, safety, education, and clinical excellence
Collaborate with hospital, system, and academic leadership to support program growth
Represent Pediatric Critical Care within Atrium Health and Advocate Health at a regional and national level
Training and/or Experience Required

MD or DO

Board‑certified (or board‑eligible) in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Demonstrated leadership experience or strong leadership potential
Commitment to academic excellence, quality improvement, and team‑based care
