Job Description
The Opportunity:
The KIPP North Carolina Teaching Fellow role gives those who are looking to try out teaching the opportunity to do so in a supportive environment. As a High School Math Teaching Fellow, you will co-teach with an experienced KIPP NC Teacher for half the instructional day and teach solo with support the second half of the instructional day. You'll co-plan with the Lead Teacher to provide students with a rigorous and joyful education, ensuring all children reach their full potential.

Support Curriculum Development and Instruction
- Help to adapt and execute rigorous, standards-aligned curricula
- Support teachers as they implement academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments
- Provide students with daily feedback on performance and plan for individual learning needs
- Receive guidance and materials from ELA / Math teachers on how to best support students who are struggling
- Embody and maintain school’s values, policies, and culture
- Develop positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff
