Program Coordinator, Corporate Training & Executive Education

Position: Program Coordinator, Corporate Training & Executive Education
Department: School of Professional Studies, Academic Affairs
Employment: Permanent Full‑time, 40 hrs/week, 12 months/year
Location: The Dubois Center, UNC Charlotte

Primary Purpose

The Program Coordinator will provide detailed administrative support and assist with the management of corporate client relationships for effective and financially viable continuing education (non-credit) instructional programs. The role supports the Director and Business Development Directors with all program logistics, marketing, and registration from start to finish.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Essential Duties
  • Coordinate program logistics, including planning meetings, material preparation, and on‑site/off‑site classroom needs.
  • Communicate program details via phone, email, and in‑person.
  • Manage registration, invoicing, budget tracking, and expense reporting.
  • Reserve training space, order catering, and oversee logistics for on‑site, off‑site, and online sessions.
  • Ensure training spaces/classrooms are set up and ready prior to each session.
  • Collaborate with staff and instructors to meet overlapping deadlines.
Other Responsibilities

Travel to local off‑site corporate locations, transport course materials, set up classrooms, and attend events as required.

Preferred Experience , Skills & Training
  • Experience coordinating programs from start to finish, with detailed logistics and event setup.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills in a sales‑driven environment.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Budget tracking, invoicing, purchase orders, and supply ordering experience.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google tools, and Zoom; ability to learn new systems quickly.
