What You Will Be Doing- Conduct individualized 1:1 motivation sessions that convert your competitive athletic background into concrete coaching methods
- Direct high‑intensity morning assemblies designed to activate and engage the full student population
- Lead interactive life‑skills workshops where you directly coach participants through exercises in resilience, leadership development, and goal articulation
- Oversee structured afternoon athletic training that embodies championship principles: create drills, demand maximum effort, refine technique, and instill grit and collaboration through competition (beyond simple supervision)
- Maintain proactive engagement with all students throughout the day: move through independent study periods, intervene motivatorily when students encounter obstacles, and generate on‑the‑spot teaching opportunities that catalyze cognitive breakthroughs
- Observing from a distance as a figurehead: this position demands active floor presence, direct student interaction, session leadership, and immediate real‑time intervention
- Delivering conventional academic instruction or adhering to preset curricula: students utilize adaptive learning applications for academics. Your function centers on life coaching, motivational development, and meta‑skill instruction through athletics and mentorship
- Former elite‑level competitors with credentials at the apex of athletic achievement (Olympic athletes, World Champions, professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All‑Americans)
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Demonstrated experience leveraging athletics to mentor and develop life competencies
- Confirmed motivational leadership in athletic, educational, or professional contexts
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
- Prepared to reside in or relocate to Austin, TX

Working with UsThis is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly.
