SEN - Sen Teaching Assistant

Overview

A SEN TA is required for a secondary school in the Durham area to work in a nurture class. This role will begin this month, ASAP and will be an ongoing role. Ideally, the candidate will have relevant qualifications and be experienced. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

• Have good classroom management skills
• Have a passion for working as a Teaching Assistant
• Be able to organise themselves
• Be able to support effectively as a TA
• Have experience working with SEND or SEMH pupils

• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on the level of qualification you have achieved and the amount of experience you have to date.
