At Civics

EDU,
we envision a society where every individual is empowered with the knowledge and skills to actively participate in civic life.

Our vision is to cultivate a community where civic literacy is not only a foundation but a dynamic force that fuels informed decision‑making, fosters meaningful engagement, and strengthens the fabric of democracy.

We aspire to be the leading catalyst for transformative change in civic education. Our vision encompasses a future where citizens, regardless of background or socio‑economic status, possess a deep understanding of their rights, responsibilities, and the mechanisms that drive our democratic system. Through Civics

EDU, we strive to create a nation where informed citizens are not just observers but active contributors to the shaping of their communities and the nation at large.

Role Overview

The Program Manager for Civic YO University leads the development and implementation of Civics

EDU’s cohort‑based civic immersion program. This role manages curriculum, schedules, and facilitation while supporting participants in producing meaningful civic policy projects.

  • Oversee the design and delivery of Civic YO University cohorts.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and support guest instructors and facilitators.
  • Mentor participants through workshops, assignments, and final presentations.
  • Supervise Civics Coaches who provide facilitation and logistical support.
  • Evaluate program outcomes and participant impact.
Time Commitment

We hold monthly all‑staff meetings lasting approximately 1 hour each and each team can meet up to three times a month for team projects. While there are no fixed work hours, we encourage you to dedicate available time between these meetings to projects relevant to your role. It is highly recommended that the selected candidate retain their current employment arrangement while offering their services to Civics
