Primary Purpose of Position:

The Digital Strategy and Visit Coordinator provides strategic leadership and management for campus visit experiences, the Engineering Ambassador Program, and prospective student-focused digital marketing efforts for the William States Lee College of Engineering. This position integrates high-quality in-person recruitment experiences with targeted digital communication strategies to support enrollment growth, enhance prospective student engagement, and strengthen the College's brand. The role works in close coordination with the Director of Recruitment and the College Director of Communications to ensure consistent messaging, data-informed outreach, and a seamless visitor experience.

Responsibilities
  • Campus Visit and Tour Coordination
    • Serve as coordinator for all College of Engineering campus visit experiences (East Campus Engineering, West Campus Engineering, and Motorsports Engineering Tours), including daily engineering tours and special visit requests.
    • Manage tour scheduling, communication, and prospective student tracking within Slate CRM.
    • Oversee engineering-specific portions of university-wide admissions events (Open House, Admitted Student Days, etc.).
    • Ensure a professional, engaging, and consistent tour experience.
  • Engineering Ambassador Coordination
    • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Engineering Student Ambassadors.
    • Develop ambassador training materials and standard operating procedures.
    • Coordinate ambassador coverage for tours and recruitment events (Open House, Admitted Students Days, high school group visits).
    • Maintain ambassador communication, performance expectations, and accountability standards.
    • Support ambassador follow-up initiatives (handwritten follow-up letters, dedicated student ambassador email).
  • Digital Strategy
    • Create digital media directed at prospective engineering students.
    • Create content that represents engineering student life.
    • Create content to promote on-campus events as it pertains to prospective students.
    • Ensure all created content aligns with the University brand standards and communication guidelines.

Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
  • Experience working with high school and college-age students.
  • Experience using digital and social media for event promotion.
  • Excellent skills in creating correspondence.
  • Experience with public speaking and leading groups.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
