Job Description & How to Apply Below

Internships at Blumenthal Arts (BA) are designed to offer hands‑on learning experiences to college and graduate students considering careers within arts management. Our desire is to equip students with a robust skillset and provide them with professional experience to carry into their careers. Internships with BA are considered full‑time and require a minimum commitment of ten weeks by intern candidates. For internship purposes, full‑time is considered 20–30 hours a week.

Pending the needs of individual departments, flexibility in daily or weekly work schedule may be required. Interns may be required to work evenings and weekends, depending on the department's needs. To assist full‑time interns with living expenses, BA offers paid internships. Housing is not provided.

In addition to work experiences overseen by a BA department leader, interns may be required to attend semi‑regular meetings with other interns and BP’s Education Special Programs Manager to participate in career preparation and other learning activities.

Interns may be eligible for college credit upon completion of BA’s internship program. Interns who intend to receive credit for their internship experience are responsible for meeting registration requirements of their respective colleges and for informing BA’s Special Education Programs Manager of necessary evaluation and/or other forms to be completed by appropriate BA personnel.
