Responsibilities
  • Teach one or more undergraduate or graduate accounting courses during a semester.
  • Develop or update course syllabus.
  • Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments.
  • Meet all designated class periods.
  • Maintain regularly scheduled office hours.
  • Conduct timely grading of student assignments and exams.
  • Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades in accordance with University regulations.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate or master’s degree in Accounting (or a related discipline) with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline for undergraduate courses; doctorate/terminal degree preferred for graduate courses.
  • Prior experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate accounting courses.
  • Professional licensure or relevant certifications in accounting are encouraged.
  • Evidence of documented teaching excellence, honors, awards, or other demonstrated competencies.
  • Three letters of recommendation (encouraged but not mandatory).
  • Must pass a criminal background check and provide an official transcript of the highest earned degree.
