Adjunct/Part Time Faculty;
Middle, Secondary, K-12 Education

Temporary – part‑time teaching position for a specific semester. The role does not accrue benefits.

• Develop and/or update course syllabus.
• Prepare lectures, projects, and other student assignments.
• Conduct all designated class periods.
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours.
• Grade student assignments and examinations in a timely manner.
• Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades in accordance with university regulations.

• Doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline (or master’s with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline) for undergraduate course teaching.
• Earned doctorate/terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline for graduate course teaching.
• Strong competence, effectiveness, and capacity demonstrated through prior work experience, licensure, certifications, honors, awards, or documented excellence in teaching.
