The Teaching Assistant's role is to assist the instructor in teaching the students, maintaining safety and order, and ensuring an excellent experience. The teaching assistant is responsible for engaging the students and having them practice while the instructor is teaching an individual student. Previous experience is not necessary, but a love for working with children and a positive personality are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of every student in your class
• Encourage and celebrate student progress while building water confidence
• Create a fun, positive, and welcoming environment during every shift
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and fellow team members
• Complete required training and actively seek feedback and growth opportunities
• Be a dependable team player who supports fellow instructors and the overall success of the pool deck

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour Charlotte Aquatics is the premier swim school in Charlotte! We are family owned / operated and have been providing swim lessons to the community for 27 years. Our child-focused approach builds trust that enables our students to become not only comfortable but confident and competent in the water. Our employees are hand-picked and go through extensive training so they too feel confident in their role and understand how they are part of SAVING KIDS LIVES!
