What You’ll Do:
As a Preschool Teacher, you’ll create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. You’ll:
Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Implement individualized, play-based curriculum
Collaborate with your teaching assistant to plan and deliver daily lessons
Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting classroom
Support gross motor development through daily activities
Build strong, professional relationships with families and staff
Represent Alliance Center for Education with pride and professionalism
What You Bring:
A passion for early childhood education
Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
Minimum of CDA (or willingness to obtain within 1 year) for infant/toddler teachers
Strong communication and computer skills
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and reliable transportation
Requirements Before You Start:
DCDEE Qualifying Letter (Background Check with Fingerprints)
Official Education Transcript Current Physical Exam Pre-employment drug screening and ongoing random screenings
