Title of Position Part Time Application Reviewer (Seasonal)

Reporting to the Campus Director of Admission for Rose Hill and Associate Director of Admission, the Part Time Application Reviewer assists the Office of Undergraduate Admission in the review of candidates for admission to Fordham’s three traditional undergraduate colleges.

The appointment runs from October 15 – March 15 and is a part-time (19 hours/week or less), non-benefit eligible position.

Essential Functions

Execute responsibilities related to the review and processing of admission applications including but not limited to:

• Adhering to holistic reading standards as set forth by the Dean and senior team
• Ability to be flexible and professional during periods of high-volume activities
• Possess solid critical thinking skills and decision making

Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are critical

Not currently employed in college counseling or admission at any other institution

Currently living in one of the following states:
New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Technolutions SLATE or like Admission CRM

Experience in Undergraduate Admission or high school counseling (1+ years)

Possess skills to read and synthesize information within compressed time frames and for a high volume of application information.
