Pay Rate varies - Minimum Experience/
Education:- Undergraduate course teaching: doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
- Graduate course teaching: earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the highest earned degree. The university also considers competence, effectiveness, capacity, undergraduate and graduate degrees, related work experience, professional licensure, certifications, honors, awards, and continuous documented excellence in teaching.
- Developing and/or updating the course syllabus.
- Preparation of lectures, projects, or other student assignments.
- Meeting all designated class periods.
- Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
- Doctorate or master’s degree with relevant experience for undergraduate teaching.
- Earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or related discipline for graduate teaching.
- Demonstrated competence, effectiveness, and capacity, including undergraduate and graduate degrees, related work experience, professional licensure, certifications, honors, awards, and continuous documented excellence in teaching.
