Position Description

The University of South Carolina Lancaster, a regional campus of the University of South Carolina located approximately thirty‑five (35) miles south of Charlotte, NC, is accepting applications for adjunct faculty in the following disciplines:

  • Astronomy
  • Biology
  • Computer Science
  • Chemistry
  • Exercise Science
  • Geology
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Public Health
  • Statistics

Candidates may be asked to teach at an off‑campus site located in Indian Land. Other options include teaching dual‑credit courses, online courses, daytime or evening courses.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

a master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.

Position Attributes

Part/Full Time – Part Time. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.

Salary: $1,200 per credit hour.
