• Develop and/or update course syllabus
• Prepare lectures, projects, or other student assignments
• Meet all designated class periods
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours
• Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Submit completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades in accordance with University regulations

• Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline
• Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline
• Consideration given to competence, effectiveness, capacity, including professional licensure, certifications, honors, awards, continuous documented excellence in teaching, or other demonstrated competencies and achievements that contribute to effective teaching and student learning outcomes
