Your Role as an Assistant Teacher:
Classroom Floater

We're looking for enthusiastic floater teachers, like YOU , who are committed to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Your primary focus will be assisting in guiding young learners while prioritizing their safety and well-being. You'll also collaborate with the lead teacher to plan engaging activities that promote growth across various areas of development and cultivate strong partnerships with parents through open communication.

Requirements

You Might Be the Perfect Fit if You:

  • Meet the minimum state floater teacher requirements for Kentucky, which involve holding a High School Diploma or its equivalent and the Commonwealth Childcare Credential - Education in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and experience within a licensed center is a big plus!
  • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.

Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
