Alliance Center for Education - CHARLOTTE, NC, Salary Range:
Undisclosed, Alliance Center for Education is seeking an experienced, qualified cook for its Head Start Program.
Candidate must be a self-starter, independently able to prepare breakfast, lunch and snack for 100-plus preschool age children, based on USDA guidelines.
Candidate is responsible for transporting meals from kitchen to classroom and retrieving service containers after each meal.
No phone calls or walk-ins.
This is a 10-month, 8 hours per day position.

Qualifications- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years experience as a cook
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as routinely contribute within a team
- Flexibility and reliable transportation
- Serv Safe Certification
- Experience as a cook in a school or daycare setting
