The Internet Evangelism department takes the Gospel to the world through , a ministry built on digital tools and online strategies. Through websites like  and various social media platforms, the Good News goes out in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, and American Sign Language. Online visitors to these pages engage with trained volunteers through chat, private messaging, texts, and emails to get their spiritual questions answered.

Those who respond to the Gospel invitation are mentored by discipleship volunteers as they go through online Bible study courses and are referred to local churches in their area.

The Learning Content & LMS Specialist position has primary responsibility for online learning within the Internet Evangelism department, including both ministry and training. The position owns the development, implementation, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement of online learning delivered through the department's learning management system and related digital tools.

The Learning Content & LMS Specialist collaborates with Language Managers, language teams, ministry leaders, subject matter experts, and other departments to develop and maintain training, evangelistic, and discipleship courses that effectively serve volunteers and visitors across languages. The position also serves as the department's primary resource for online learning practices and course development.

• Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence

• Owns the department's online learning discipline and course lifecycle, ensuring that training, evangelistic, and discipleship courses are developed, implemented, maintained, and continuously improved to achieve defined ministry and learning outcomes
• Collaborates with Language Managers, language teams, ministry leaders, and subject matter experts to assess needs, define audiences and objectives, organize content, and develop or improve courses across 11 or more language groups
• Applies current online learning, instructional design, and adult learning practices to create effective and usable course experiences, and train or consult with language teams and subject matter experts on course development and improvement
• Manages and coordinates multiple course-development and improvement projects by establishing scope, schedules, responsibilities, milestones, and deliverables and communicating progress, risks, and dependencies
• Guides courses through the established development and approval process from concept and development through review, testing, approval, launch, maintenance, and sunset. Coordinate with the BGEA Communications department to ensure course content is reviewed and approved according to Association standards and established processes. Work with Technology staff on platform requirements, technical implementation, testing, and launch;
  Technology retains responsibility for LMS administration, functionality, and technical troubleshooting
