• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team through the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and architectural integrity
• Provide architectural and design guidance for embedded software, IoT device management, and cloud-based platforms
• Hire, coach, and develop engineering managers and technical leads within your group
• Act as a key interface between engineering, product, customer support, and field operations teams
• Champion Agile engineering practices, including sprint planning and automated testing

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at the senior manager or director level
• Proven success managing teams of 30+ engineers across multiple products or functional areas
• Strong background in large-scale, distributed systems, particularly IoT, embedded software, or cloud platforms
• Deep experience with Agile methodologies and team rituals
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field

• Experience in fuel, EV, retail tech, or industrial IoT domains
• Familiarity with payment regulatory standards and device certification
• Hands-on knowledge of observability platforms or incident response systems
• Experience in high-uptime environments with field service logistics
