This is an hourly wage position. Base wage is $18 - $21 per hour and is based on experience.
Medical coverage will be provided as per company policy.
Paid Vacation will be provided. One (1) week of vacation will be provided per annum and will increase based on years of service.
The company offers six (6) paid holidays.
Job SummaryThey research and analyze permit regulations, review and interpret plans and documents, and coordinate with various departments to ensure all permits and licenses are in compliance.
ResponsibilitiesPermitting Specialist facilitates the submittal of permit applications and required documentation to obtain zoning, building, and electrical permit approvals from local jurisdictions for wireless projects.
- Complete permit applications and submittal packages.
- Contact local jurisdictions to determine permitting and submittal requirements.
- Track tasks in a Salesforce project tracker and spreadsheets.
- Provide regular updates to project manager and attend regular update calls/meetings as required.
- Navigate file systems and project folders to locate documents needed for permit submittals.
- Creating deliverable memos to upload to client systems.
- Work with internal or external engineering firms to request changes to engineering documents pertinent to the permitting process.
- Handle emails as quickly and effectively as possible.

- Possess High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possess valid Drivers License.
- Minimum of one to three years experience in Permitting.
- Excellent communication skills in fluent English, including the ability to present and speak in public.
- Ability to exercise integrity at the moment of choice.
- Ability to think and reason strategically.
- Comprehensive computer skills including software (Windows, Office, database experience), hardware, programs, and applications.
- Proven experience in a supervisory capacity.
