Job Description
Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation group in our Charlotte, NC office. This position offers exposure to multiple engineering disciplines, including roadway design, structural design, drainage design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning. A customized training program will be tailored to the individual. - Developing and evaluating engineering solutions
- Preparing design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawings
- Conducting various studies and documenting results
- Organizing project schedules
- Writing internal and external communications
- Performing other duties as assigned
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in transportation) required.
- 0‑2 years’ experience; previous internship desired.
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- Experience using CADD (Microstation/ Open Roads or AutoCAD/ Civil 3D).
- Desire to work in a team environment.
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is preferred.
