• The Tendering/Proposal Development is a major driver for the success of our Steam business.
• You will direct and coordinate all activities required for on‑time delivery of Steam tendering projects, including new replacement components and entire operating turbine or valve sets.
• You will collaborate with Marketing, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Planning, and Procurement to clarify technical work and resources necessary for tendering requirements.
• You will facilitate proper collaborative technical decision‑making when issues extend beyond a single team member’s responsibility.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal partners and external customers on all matters pertaining to the project/proposal.
• Support the Project Manager with facilitation of EWR (Emergent Work Request) tenders to support a seamless financial workflow.
• Receive requests for quotation and support SEI GS Service groups on negotiations for additional scope following order entry and throughout the product warranty phase.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree with 5–8 years of related experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in Project Management, Planning, or Steam Product and/or Manufacturing Engineering (valve knowledge preferred), power equipment production, and time management.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done on time with high quality and minimal direct supervision.
• Experience supporting quotation processes in Manufacturing and Production Supervisor environments.
• Excellent written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Required travel up to 5%.
• Independently perform advanced areas of work for this professional field and apply advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices.
• Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high‑impact, complex, or cross‑functional problems.

$70,000 – $80,000. Compensation decisions are based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job‑related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

• On‑site position located in Charlotte, NC.
• Must be able to commute to and from the location with own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include extensive walking and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Travel requirements: 5% of travel is required.
