- Lead and support a team of electrical engineers while partnering with a Senior Manager
- Provide electrical engineering and project management support for manufacturing facilities
- Coach engineers through full project life cycles, from estimating and proposals to construction and startup
- Support plant safety, quality, process optimization, and productivity improvements
- Lead electrical engineering projects primarily supporting manufacturing plants
- Build, coach, and develop electrical and project engineering staff
- Delegate work and provide performance coaching to project engineers
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules for capital projects and Appropriation Requests
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within approved scope and budget
- Lead or oversee preparation of construction drawing packages
- Oversee field construction activities and manage project startups
- Specify and procure equipment, engineering services, and construction services
- Support existing facilities with maintenance, repair, and improvement projects
- Collaborate with plant teams to improve safety, quality, reliability, and productivity
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering experience
- 2–3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role
- Experience with Allen‑Bradley PLC programming and iFix HMI
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience designing power and motor circuits
- Knowledge of transformers, switch gear, and major power components
- Strong understanding of:
- AC variable speed drives
- Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
- Field instrumentation specification and setup
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, networking architecture, and software troubleshooting
- Experience in wallboard or similar manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with electrical system coordination studies
- Knowledge of arc flash requirements and NFPA‑70
